It can sometimes be good to brush up on the facts to ensure that you’re abreast of charity regulations and recent developments.

The Charity Commission has launched a quiz for to test trustees’ knowledge.

The quiz represents part of a new campaign to enhance charities’ governance by helping trustees better understand their duties and responsibilities. It aims to identify gaps in knowledge, encourage participants to broaden their skillsets and act as a refresher for trustees at all levels of experience.

The quiz has been designed to cover a range of questions based on everyday scenarios that might arise as part of running a charity. Topics covered include compliance, safeguarding and conflict of interest.

Feedback is provided for each question, and participants are directed towards further guidance to strengthen their knowledge. You may find that the Commission’s 5-minute guides are particularly informative for this purpose.

We hope you find this a useful tool…
