Free solutions
Some banks offer free accounting software, if you have an active business account with them. This can be a cost-effective option in the early stages of a new start-up.
However, check the details and see exactly what you will be getting. Does the software have all the features you need to run your business? Can its features support your business if it grows? Check the sign-up terms. How long will the offering be free? What will happen to your data if you move to a different package/provider later down the line?
